Here, at Gardelegen Concentration Camp, the guards panicked as Allied forces drew closer. In an effort to stop the prisoners from escaping or being liberated by the advancing Americans the guards locked a majority of them inside the warehouses and burned them alive. By the time the US Army arrived to the camp, the warehouse was smoking and the majority of prisoners dead.

A skater called Jeffer Sandsrtöm bumped into this rather spectacular carcass during his morning stroll. 
I’ll have to admit that this is probably the most powerful image that I’ve ever seen describing Finnish nature. Can not blame the bloody furry bugger for not trying though. Still gets me mood down..and wondering how could I’ve pry its skull out as well. Rest well none the less.
